Clarissa Bell, Staff Writer
Clarissa Bell is a senior and new staff writer for The Kahoki! In school, she is a member of the National Honors Society and attends Chess meetings broadcasted virtually from another school.
Outside of school, Clarissa has spent much of her time at her new job as a daycare teacher! She also teaches a few kids private lessons. She chose these jobs because she absolutely loves teaching and taking care of children. In fact, her plans are to go to SWIC in the Fall to not only do her general studies, but to earn an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and to take the elective of Special Education. From SWIC, Clarissa hopes to transfer to a four year university in St.Louis, Missouri to further her education.
When she is not working or doing assignments, Clarissa likes to write about the events and feelings of everyday life, specifically through poetry. She recently even won a publication in a book titled Together by the American Library of Poetry! Also, she loves to listen to different styles of music, watch shows on Youtube, and most importantly, visit with her friends, Cami and Celeste.
Clarissa is incredibly excited and thankful for the opportunity to write for The Kahoki and hopes you enjoy reading her articles!
