The Duffer Brothers recently released season five, of the fan favorite Netflix series, Stranger Things. All the fans were ecstatic hearing about the release. I’m sure lots of us cancelled plans just to watch it. I know for sure that I definitely wasn’t ready for the show to be over.
Vol. 1 of season 5 came out on November 26, 2025. This vol. kept many people on the edge of their seats for vol. 2. It definitely took me, personally, the longest to actually get into and get through. Once I finally got into it I was instantly hooked on the plot. The fourth episode ending? COME ON!!!Â
Vol. 2 came out on Christmas day 2025, and it was widely talked about amongst all. I personally like Vol 2 better. It was just more active and interesting to me. If you know me, it’s really difficult for me to get through any movie or TV show.Â
Alright, the finale. The finale came out on new years eve. I noticed the fact it was 2 hours and I buckled down for the ride. I think most people were definitely disappointed with the ending. I 100% agree. The finale could’ve had so much more with it. I was expecting a more emotional ending, because obviously it’s the end of the show. A show that’s been going on for literally a decade. I definitely still shed some tears over it because it was pretty emotional toward the middle.
I, personally, am not disappointed entirely with season 5. Some parts 100% could’ve been better though. However, I really like what they did with Will’s character this season. I feel like they gave him the action he deserved. All the characters this season, old and new, were absolutely amazing. They did amazing with their roles and every single one was played flawlessly. In past seasons it kind of seemed like the season was just focused on 1 or 2 characters throughout. I feel that this season, all the characters as a whole had bigger roles and I wasn’t just focused on one character the whole time.
