Katelyn Berger
Katelyn Berger is Vice President, Costume Crew Leader, Props Crew Leader, as well as an actor for the CHS Drama Club. They have been an active member of the club for all four years now, and their favorite part is being able to creatively express themselves in numerous different ways. After high school, Berger is going to major in Film and TV Production at either Webster or DePaul University. Their four favorite movies are Clue, Bottoms, Glass Onion, and Night of the Living Dead. Their favorite music artist is Billy Joel, and their favorite high school memory is going to Taco Bell with their friends after taking the SAT.
Ember Breeding
Ember Breeding is Sousaphone Section Leader for the CHS band and Second Chair Tuba for the CHS Wind Ensemble. She has been a part of the band since middle school, and her favorite part is getting to perform with all of the friends she has made over the years. After graduation, Ember is going to the University of Memphis and majoring in Business Administration with a focus in International Business. She also wanted to take a moment and shout out the sousaphone sections. She says, “You guys really made my senior year and I couldn’t ask for a better section.” Ember’s favorite music artist is Laufey, and her favorite memories from CHS and Band are from all of the home football game performances and waiting eagerly for their scores at competitions.
Annalia Dunn
Annalia Dunn plays clarinet for the CHS Marching Band. She has also been a part of the band since middle school, and her favorite part is the marching competitions. After high school, Annalia plans to go into cosmetology. She says, “Although I’m going to miss a lot of things about school and band, I’m excited to sort of ‘be free’ in a way and really get to start living my life. I can’t wait to see the way my life goes thanks to the people that I’ve met and who have helped me get to this point in my life.” She says that she doesn’t have one all time favorite music artist, but Deftones is one that is certainly up there, and her favorite CHS memories are from Mr. Kemp’s English class, along with the day Mr. Goetter shaved his head.
Devin Habermehl
Devin Habermehl is a part of the CHS football team and is also a Kahok Krazie. His favorite part about being a Krazie is getting to yell at the opposing team’s players and leading the student section. After high school, Devin plans to continue playing football and study physical education at Northern Illinois University. Along with football, he can also play guitar, and he was actually homeschooled until 8th grade. Devin’s favorite music artist is Creed, and his favorite memories from CHS are winning the first two playoff football games in school history and breaking the school discus record.
Aidan James
Aidan James is both an actor and crew member for the CHS Drama Club. His favorite parts about Drama are all of the people he has met and the parties that come along with each production. Aidan says, “I want to go into writing. I’m thinking about teaching, but I would like to be an actor, but it’s almost impossible to do it with no resources to start from.” Along with his duties at the high school level, Aidan is also a state thespian officer. His favorite artist is Lord Huron, and his favorite memory from CHS is getting to go to theatrefest.
Nora Johnson
Nora Johnson is an actor and Makeup Mistress for the CHS drama club. Their favorite part of the club is getting the opportunities to live out so many different lives on stage. After high school, Nora plans on becoming an elementary school teacher. Along with their drama club duties, Nora is also president of the Future Teachers Club. They say, “My favorite CHS memory has been being a part of the Early Childhood Education course the school offers in the vocational center. I love children and by being in this class. I get to work side by side with other high school students to work together as preschool teachers for children ages 2-4.” Nora’s favorite movie is Dead Poets Society, and their favorite artist is ABBA.
