The Positive Changes to CHS

Many positive changes are happening at CHS. Some of the bathrooms at the school have been completely redone and remodeled. They now have new stalls and sinks which is very appreciated.

Another change to the school is the hanging room numbers. When I was a freshman, finding my classes was hard, especially coming from a private school. I was always getting lost and arriving to my classes late. So, the addition of the room numbers just above the classroom was a great idea. They make it easy to see and find your classroom. Even as a senior, it is helpful because I don’t have to think as hard to get to my class.

A third addition they added to the building this year are the bottle fillers at some of the water fountains. The bottle fillers help me because if I’m thirsty and I have my bottle with me, I can fill it up quickly and head to my next class. They save so much time especially if you are leaving a class late. Also, by having the option to fill a water bottle, fewer people are asking to leave class to get water because it’s right there in a bottle. They are also good for the environment because they encourage reusing bottles.

With all of these changes and more to come, the school is getting better one change at a time.
